How To Find
Meetings
Here are a few
suggestions:
-
Check the
official website of Adult Children of
Alcoholics:
http://adultchildren.org/
Or write or
call them at the ACOA headquarters:
Adult
Children of Alcoholics
World Service Organization
P.O. Box 3216
Torrance, CA 90510
(310) 534-1815
email:
info@AdultChildren.org
Website:
http://adultchildren.org/
The above
phone number is answered when people are
available in the office. When they are not
available you can leave a message with the
answering service. Please note that to
receive information on meetings in your area
you need to send a self-addressed stamped
envelope to the above address.
-
Look in the
phone book (white pages) under Adult
Children of Alcoholics, ACA, ACOA,
Codependents Anonymous or CODA. If you don't
find a listing, your local Alcoholics
Anonymous or Al-Anon chapters may be able to
refer you. Check the phone book. They are
listed in almost every city nationwide.
-
Local
newspapers often have a "where and when" of
community events. In this town it is printed
every first Tuesday of the month.
-
Adult
Children Anonymous General Service Network
P.O. Box 25166
Minneapolis, MN 55458-6166
-

site:
Mining Company
Check
here for the meeting schedule.
Important:
Note that not all meetings are registered. In
that case the best thing to do is ask around. If
you cannot find meetings in your area, start
one. Just ask some AA's or other folks with
12-Step experience to help. Here are a few
meeting formats to help you get started:
Tuesday,
Sunday,
Thursday. You can get a new meeting packet
from the ACOA headquarters (listed above). |
