Brother Earl's Recovery ... The Gift Video
Featuring Earl Cannamore, C.A.C. Resistance barriers
crumble and the future looks like a brighter place after watching
Brother Earl in a lively discussion of what living clean and sober
can offer. From self-esteem to better relationships, Brother Earl
points out that recovery provides continuing gifts.
The late Earl Cannamore, C.A.C., was
known simply as Brother Earl -- a profoundly gifted and dedicated
counselor, sponsor, teacher, and role model for hundreds of
recovering addicts and alcoholics. Brother Earl’s stated goal was to
“eradicate drug abuse in the universe.” Over the course of more than
twenty years, he worked tirelessly toward that end. A favorite
speaker among recovering African Americans, Brother Earl delivered
his messages with honesty, humor, and the keen understanding of a
street-smart user who overcame skin color and economic differences.

Promises of AA by Fr. Joseph C. Martin Video
Featuring Father Joseph C. Martin In the Big Book of
AA is a list of Promises for those who sincerely try to live a sober
life. To many in the early days of sobriety, these Promises sound
like impossible pie in the sky. In The Promises of AA, Father Joseph
C. Martin shows that the Promises are attainable. He does so by
holding up example after example of incidents in the lives of people
in AA.
Father Martin has devoted over half
his life to helping alcoholics and the addicted. His Chalk Talks
videos are often the first videos clients see in treatment. Every
word and action expresses a passionate belief in the innate dignity
of the human being. |
